Crossing Portsmouth to Le Havre 21st August ,driving to Nerja Spain, can't locate any aires within 5 kilometres of Nerja ,so thinking will stay at camping Nerja. Has anyone stayed there in last year,if so what did you think of it.Appreciate any suggestions for best route from Le Havre to Nerja and night stops en route.

Any coastal site in Spain will be very very noisy in Aug and dammed expensive. It was bad enough in early July when the kids had just broken up but all of Spain is on holiday in Aug. Stay inland if possible. Andalucia inland is beautiful and unspoilt,,,Enjoy. BUSBY

Yes I agree,but don't intend getting to Nerja until September,want to see a few places in north of Spain and then a month in Nerja returning in October.

Do you need to go so far south where it will be hot and humid in August?

I like it hot and humid,but I won't get there until September anyway.
