Hi anyone know if you can buy a guidebook in France for all the camping municipal sites? I know they have a website (which I use & find good) http://www.camping-municipal.org/

But sometimes when we turn up & don't like an aire it would be useful to have a book with them in to hand.....just to save logging on etc.

useful link thanks, clicked on a couple near where we are going, they are not as cheap as I expected municipal sites to be (40+ euros / night!)

Not seen a book just of these, but would guess most of them will be in any number for French sites books

David that isn't a normal Municipal then, our average spend on a Municipal for van+pitch+ehu is 10-15 euros! Our favourite in Rosnay is 8 euros.

To be fair I was looking close to the Med near Montpelier, looked closer to home and they do drop to 10-15 euros

I guess a lot might depend on time of year, we tend to only pay 15-20 euros with ACSI out of season with EHU and wifi

I should have said, the reception is open ONLY 8-12 am then closees til 4pm-8pm, it has a barrier so unless you have a swipe card to get in you are stuck on a downhill entrance which is very arkward. So do not arrive till after 4pm (but it is worth it)
