camping benisol v camping armanello, benidorm (1 Viewer)

hi we are heading south after lincoln show and are going to make our way down to gibraltar , we intend stopping in Benidorm for a week there are two of us and our wee dog Charlie, can anyone advise which is the better campsite between Benisol and Armanello thanks

We like camping benidorm. Have alook at their website. Very friendly bus stop right outside on the same road as the other sites.

Armanelo is up a very dark lane that is not pleasurable to walk up at night. Benisol is a bus ride away from town. If you have dog La Toretta is nearest.

We've stayed on Benisol twice and are planning a revisit this winter. There's a bus stop right outside the site that takes you into Benidorm or you can walk it in around 30 mins. Good bar/restaurant on site that serves good food and the swimming pool was being upgraded ready for the summer. There's also an indoor pool which you can use during the winter. There's an area around the rally field where you can exercise your dog. Can't comment on Armanelo, but we like Benisol and if you cycle, it's a nice ride into Altea or Albir through the back roads and orange groves.

For closeness la torreta is best for us supermarket across the road plus a few bars happy travels Rod
