I just got my renewal through and they forgot to stamp the cards with our age concession entitlement as we are over 65 so I 'phoned to get the cards rectified.

I was advised that they now have another category of membership which I think was veteran or something similar and you get half price membership if you are over 65 and have been club members for 25 years or more.

Might be useful to some on here.

It got changed a couple of years ago. It’s now 65 to get the concession for reduced fees. My hubby got in the last year of the concession at 60 3 years ago.

Veteran Membership is over 65 with 25 years membership.. qualifying for 50% reduction

We have kept the C&CC membership as we get the 50% discount we sometimes use the New Forest sites sometimes use Dover crossing. Didn't know they had changed the age concession used to be 55.
Annoyingly with senior mebership you can't have an online membership so you have to keep filling the recycle bin with rubbish magazine.

And for future reference, the cards can be verified and stamped at any club site if you provide proof of age. I had mine done earlier this year

I have senior membership and online only, although it is a joint membership with SWMBO, who is not yet "senior"

We just got in when they gave the discount to 55yr olds . Plus they acknowledge Amanda will never be a member to use the club on her own. So they awarded her a special membership . She goes free on all there main sites.. We had been with caravan club for years and had to pay full price for Amanda as the third adult. When we told them what ccc had done for Amanda they said they didn't do that and we would have to write to the director of cc to ask if they would. Didn't bother just cancelled it felt likely would be begging them. If one club has that policy I thought so should cc
