I am not sure where the original phrase comes from, but folk really go to town decorating and lighting up their units, it is quite impressive. There is also a competition between the regions to win an overall prize.

We are going to the NFOL this year. We went a few years ago when it was in Hampshire I think. We enjoyed it then. It was good value with good shows and trade. Mind you we spent too much at Malvern last week so probably won't need to buy anything - but you never know!! Hoping this rain isn't going to affect the ground too much. What's Malvern like when wet? Is it the sort of place we could get towed off?
