We are thinking of down sizing, is there such a Van on the market with an Island bed (that you can get down the sides of ?) or in you estimation what Camper van has the best design ? size wise we are thinking Fiat Ducato or Ford Transit up to 3500 kgs GVW

Only slightly Biased, we have a HymerCar Ayres Rock and absolutely brilliant design @5.4 metres if you want something slightly longer try the Grand Canyon or Yosemite try the link there is a whole range to discover

I had not realised that Hymer did as many as 5 of the 16 models as PVCs, and only 5 as 'A' Class including the slightly narower 2 Excis models. i had always though the majority were 'A' Class.
[Forget that Hymer call their 'A' a 'B' - never undestood why.]

It is quite something, they seem to understand the market really well to the extent that they have the ‘budget’ range of the Fiat free 540 600 and 601 and under the Fiat model they have 4 sub models sydney, Ayers Rock, Grand Canyon, Yosemite and Yellowstone then on to the Mercedes variants

the choice is quite mind boggling as you then have a host of options to choose from on each one
