Is it worth the extra money needed for a Camper sat nav ? I have a standard Go Tomtom which I've had for 5 years, yes it likes to take me up tiny roads and all around the houses, this week it took me on an exciting tour of Bristol and then couldn't decide how to get out on to road I needed, wasted 30 mins and saw places I do not wish to return to. For a 7 mtr motorhome do you think the Go Camper is a worthy choice ?

No, it will probably be just as bad. Ours used to do exactly the same.
Don't use it now, just Google maps for location and follow signs, they never let you down. šŸ‘

The advantage of a camper specific satnav is that it will avoid narrow roads and low bridges. It doesnā€™t always get routes right. We had a similar experience around Boulogne and had avery nice tour around the countryside.
If we are somewhere we donā€˜t know well, we always have a map and will overrule ā€œMadamā€ if we think there is a better way.
