We are in the Costa Del Sol and know it is difficult to do this here! I know we can get it done in Murcia - anyone know how much for a (Warwick Duo’ Peugeot boxer sized vehicle please?

depends on many things like
are you already a resident? If so then you will be paying import duty of 4,1% on the government yearly value for that vehicle & dependent on its age.
If you aren't a resident & have not signed on a padron ( council electoral roll) then it can be done without the above tax payable as part as your
" goods & chattels" .& for the cost of engineers report , itv, lights , etc:

Thanks for that Gus-Lopez! Yes we are resident and expected to pay the import tax - just wondered about a ball park figure for overall cost but now got a number for someone in Murcia who will do it for us so will get a quote off him!

It's all in a bit of flux atm. Our friends here have been trying to do theirs (through a company) since last year. The customs tax is proving a problem. They've given all sorts of proof the vehicle was here last autumn. Ferry booking, receipts for various things, proof of it entering and leaving through our security here last year, but none of this is being accepted. Their rematriculation custom query has gone from Alicante customs, to Madrid and now to Brussels. It's looking likely they'll be paying a third country amount!!! They're not happy, to say the least.

Alicante was always one of the easiest regions to get the change done. I had contact details of one place, but I'm loathe to recommend anywhere in case it's the place they first used and who messed up.
