Camper engine cutting out help !!!

Hi all my peugeot eldiss autostratus 2.8 has had a crankshaft sensor replaced and now the engine is cutting out when just ticking over. The pedal has been adjusted to keep it ticking over but the engine cuts out while driving (when im braking ect and foot isnt on accelerator).
Any ideas what the new problem might be thanks

Did a garage replace the sensor, might be worth asking them ?
Year and type of engine would help the knowledgeable ones on here to help.
Is it a 2.8 JTD maybe ?

Check that the bolt that holds in is tight fixed a car with simler problem last month
Check the sensors wiring is plugged in property
And no chafed wires causing a intermittent short on tickover.
Not much that can go wrong with a new sensor have it plugged in to a OBD
