Seeing threads on vans being nicked and camcorder accident recording and alarms and all the attendant posts, is there such a thing as a camera that can be positioned out of sight say inside the radiator grill or in the case of motorhomes somewhere in the overhead part that starts up with the van and can then send pictures to a computer or phone or something, so if the van is nicked you can see where it's going as it happens or later if recording, don't know anything about such things myself but with technology we have now , it must be possible.

you can get a kit that is used for quadcoters but only about 1000 meters some have gps settigs on them can connect to computer or goggles one is called (fat shark ) they call them fpv first person view

Just had a quick look on eBay , there seems to be loads like this one 111013045105 would they work , if they do why aren't there more about, seems simple

Yeah agree, but if you are having a camera for accident recording anyway might as well have one that would do both, and if robbers had another car in front or something you would see both and the ones I have seen on eBay are cheap enough anyway, if they would do the job, also if it was sending a signal to your phone it would have a map reference as well.

there is a pir that you can fit anywhere and when activated will send tx and video /phoot of intruder / dont know a lot about it but it was on tv when occupant of flat was informed , phoned police and caught thief:thumb:
