As promised earlier in the day I have just had an email to my enquiry about a vat extension after yesterdays budget.
They are extending the 5% vat deal until the 30th September. After which they are implementing 12.5% vat until March 2022.
Well done to the CAMC I say. They get a fair bit of stick on this site, hopefully this should help restore there image a bit.

Not sure that they are to be seen as Angels, if they had not passed this saving on they would have been seen as profiteering and would have dug themselves into a bigger hole.

They aren’t doing anything except implementing the gov. VAT rates as they are required by law to.

They also said in the same email that they plan to open all their English sites on 12th April.
Scotland may be a little later but they are waiting for more information.

Its a pity they don't re-introduce the voucher scheme with the extra 20% passed on.
