Camc Looe Advice

[Larafach]

I thinking of having a couple of nights here at the end of September. It looks like quite a nice site and I can get four nights for £55, but the blurb says levelling ramps are required.
I do have a pair of ramps, but haven’t had to use them yet and will probably make a balls of it .
Has anyone stayed here? Are all the pitches wonky?

Hi Emma,I've stayed there several times, depends where you are as to if you need ramps. If you do there is always someone who will help you. A bus stop is just outside the camp to take you into Looe.

If you can get on a hardstanding they are level, some of the grass pitches are very sloping and uneven. The Coddy Shack is about a 10 minute walk (turn left out of main gate) and does lovely fish and chips, take away and eat in

Have stayed there and they are slopping.
One A Class opposite us had front Rams fully extended and on blocks, the back where only steadying it.
Bought a set of Quad 3s straight after!
Site was busy at the time July, so you have a better chance of getting a less slopping spot.

The great thing about CAMH sites is that you can choose your pitch. Some pitches are certainly flatter than others.

I presume you mean £55 per night not £55 for four nights. Unless CAMC have seen the error of their ways with pricing.

It’s their mid week 50% off deal, so it’s just £55 for 4 nights

Well I never! I didn't know they offered that deal. Is it just on selected sites or on all?

(I could look it up on their website but I don't feel up to that frustrating challenge and I've only got an hour before I have to go out).

Just these selected sites for September and October. Might pop over to Cirencester in October

We have stayed many times, our friends came as first timers last year. Staff could not have been more helpful to them, checked in to see if they had any problems .
if you like fish go to Looe, behind fish market next to trawlers is a little restraunt, food is amazing but as only a few tables call in to book. Otherwise if you give them your mobile they will call when table availiable.
Go over bridge and walk to fire station, just behind is a small pub on corner,very little outside space, but pub is immaculate and really nice food
Enjoy it great place
