enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
Just arrived at the above location. Just outside Abbeyville. Lovely spot, no facilities though. Next to the River Somme (Canal Napoleon, the sign says)

Wouldnt want to arrive when it's dark or as a last resort as it is small, prob fit 3 motorhomes in reality to allow manoeuvring.

As you can see, it was raining. Will add a few more pics later.

It's almost 6pm here and there are more cars now, mostly fishermen with a couple of dog walkers and one family. Several cyclists have stopped at the picnic benches as its prob a convenient place to a break.

Fishing from.the adjacent bridge with light spinning tackle

Just noticed the sign, bird reserve 1300m away, for all the twitchers...

It's on Park4night, but I will try to get the coordinates
Last fisherman has just left, so ar 9.30 pm local time we have the car park to ourselves. Minor traffic movement but weve got the tv on so dont hear it anyway (clear satellite signal, no trees etc) !!

Ps. I entered the address manually and sat nav brought me to it easily.

A couple more photos taken this morning before we left. A couple of cars had parked near us but they had all left plenty of space for us. Our MH is 7.5m long, anything much more and it might be an issue. I would suggest anything around the sub 7m would be ideal.
Tge way we eventually parked up, we could actually have wound out the awning part way and utilised the grass verge (for a couple of chairs to watch the world go by) between the cycle path and the parking area without causing any problems to anyone else.

This next photo shows distance to local towns along the cycle path. Abbeyville is 4.2 km away, so well within cycling distance

This next photo is where the stopover is
