I need my cam belt replacing on our Hymer 698 Fiat 2.3 2013 model. I am having quotes of £1700. Can anyone recommend somewhere in/near Staffordshire please?

I went to this place. Mine is an A class which people ran away from. It is at the front of Lower Lacon caravan park Wem.
Dave Newell in Telford did mine.
I used these people recently for a fuel and pollen filter changed and very impressed with the service and the price. I can't remember how much he said for ours on a A class but it was less than the £800 I paid last year at Camper UK... who now charge £950.

That's OTT our Fiat Profession (Adams Morey) I though was high at £850.

I went with PVR after other quotes, conversations and considerations. Collected the MH today. Very happy with the service and contact. The technician who did the job came into the office and explained the job to me and showed me the removed parts.
Highly recommend PVR.

Hillwood autos tamworth staffs gets my vote, a true commercial garage that service/repair vans. HGV,s coaches and anything in between...done both my clutch, Cambelt and engine repairs this year, definetly worth a call if the location suits...they definetly know there stuff.

Took the TOAD in for it's MoT, saw yours in there, very nice. Had mine done there a few weeks ago. He does a weekly Wednesday report on FB covering the work they have in that day which included yours. MH in next Wednesday for MoT. Handy for me as I go to Apedale Valley Light Railway next to the Heritage Centre on a Wed, so can drop off and walk down and back when Emma rings to say it's ready.

I never knew that this guy existed. His address is next door to Lower Lacon but probably something to do with the Motorhome Man.

We have used Cara Motorhomes in Stafford for 5 years now for our annual services and MOTs and John there is great. Cam belt changed last year. Reasonable costs and very pleasant and fair to deal with. Postcode ST18 0DT

Just for comparison, I've just had my cambelt done on a 2.3 2011 Fiat ducato max at a cost of £550 in Guildford. I would expect Staffordshire prices to be lower, not higher.

Yes, I've used him to in the past and he was very good. However, when I enquired last year regarding the Cambelt, I was advised that they wouldn't be able to do it as one of the Mechanics had left and as the job was lengthy it would tie up the Workshop. They did offer to recommend another Workshop when the time came to do it if the situation hadn't changed. However in the meantime I got to hear of PVR with good feedback and able to deal with Vans etc., plus as I said earlier, I attend Apedale every Wednesday which was right on the doorstep.I have used a Garage in Kidsgrove Stoke On Trent for over 20 years to look after my Motorhomes.
