Hi All, hope your all well.
Pick up a new Hymer PVC base vehicle Mercedes Sprinter last September.
I have one small issue with the van, not sure if it's normal or a problem?
Whoever it is, it's irretating.
When parked up, with all cab electrics off, every 5 minutes of so a relay clicks and the SOS button situated in the interior light cluster comes on. After a couple of seconds the light goes off, 5 minutes later it repeats this cycle.
Not a major problem, but is this normal. Can't imagine why it should do this but it has since delivery.
Have any fellow Sprinter owners experience this?
Many thanks.

A few years.
Do you have the SOS option?
If no it needs to be disabled - have a Google should be an answer there.
If yes could it be that the engine is off but the door are unlocked?

You could try the following that I found on a MB forum.

"To turn off the SOS warning, shut off the engine and then turn the key back on. Then turn on the headlights and leave them on for two minutes. Then turn them off and turn off the key. The message may still there at the time but will be gone the next morning. It has to do with the brain box having a battery voltage question and by burning the headlights for two minutes, the brain box sees a voltage drop and records the new battery voltage."

Was hoping a Mercedes owner may be able to give me some advise.
They would know if it was happening in their vehicle, the relay click can be herd at night when sleeping.
Guess I'm tuned in to it.
