Calais Aire Closing 2015 ?

Picked up this info on Campercontact pdf sheet .. am I reading correct.. it's closing in 2015.. ??

anyone heard anything about this..

Its been on the cards for a long time now, apparently being replaced with a new Aire just outside Calais.
Not sure how true it is a friend of mine wrote to the Mayor a few months ago and was told the above but given no dates.

It was supposed to have closed August 2014 I think they are building a conference centre on the site, the campsite nearby closed over a year ago.

You can always use the carpark by the marina - its quieter at night and nearer the town. Loads of vans in there last time we visited.
