Hi anyone had experience of the Camping Party Grill 400 which seems to be very much like the Cadac Safari Chef?

We have the Party Grill 200 which is similar and love it. Packs up really small and very easy to clean. Of course the Campingaz canisters aren't the cheapest way to buy gas but so convenient.

I've got a Cadac Safari Chef.
There's only two of us but the thing is too small, and does not get hot enough to sear/seal steaks properly. I wouldn't buy one again

'Of course the Campingaz canisters aren't the cheapest way to buy gas but so convenient.'

This must be a contender for understatement of the month, it is an incredibly expensive way to buy gas.

This one is a bit cheaper and runs off those air freshener size cans at a quid or less each.

Cadac, run from a Calor gas 4.5kg bottle, so not quite as dear as camping gas. we have no problem searing steaks/chops. there also appears to be a much larger range of accessories, the latest purchase being a set of tapas pans.
