Excellent work, and being tripod legs can I assume that each leg is extendable in order to get a perfectly level platform.

not bothered with extending bits, no need in terms of height etc as of yet, but parts still ready if needed, its steadying the legs im working on

I thought you'd ordered some stuff from China? :confused:

just turned out to be a bit over engineered with those bits on, worked, but bulky, so abandoned in favour of this

I'm surprised you didn't use a tripod that already had the supports anyway, like the below, that would have been my choice:

and this set up has centre leg for leg supports which wont fit cadac due to gas inlet in centre of cooker etc;)

Since 1996, had Elddis/Swift/Rapido/Rimor/Chausson MHs. Autocruise/Globecar PVCs/Compactline i-138
and this set up has centre leg for leg supports which wont fit cadac due to gas inlet in centre of cooker etc;)
I was talking about the joining bit not the centre post silly boy! :rolleyes:
