Quick detatch extendable legs.....

Cadac still fits in carry bag......(y)

Height is extendable from low to ridiculously high to keep furbert chops out of the cooking:cry:

The main reason for the height adjustment is that as std on a table it's too high to tend while sitting and too low while standing.... i know im awkward....

Absolutely brilliant - will save me trying to find a table with adjustable legs - that the Cadac will still slide around on! Where did you source the legs?

Ok
Now to be the bearer of bad news I'm afraid....

The male and female bracket bits are from obsolete air rifles from spares I had kicking about (a bsa superten)

The legs were from a prototype sample telescope tripod which I would imagine are available in this size somewhere

Sorry folks but I don't have any more left

You'd need male and female extruded parts
The female needs to fit into the top of the legs....the male part to the cadac chassis

Do we get to sample the difference the legs have made to the taste of what's being cooked at this higher altitude.
I will start experimenting as soon as it's warmer lol

I'm sure the dog will be happy to help during the testing period

I wonder if adding wine will make a difference at altitude?...........

Thanks for showing us that and well done!.
I have been looking for ideas to extend the legs on ours since we got it, but yesterday we were shopping in Aldi for groceries ( we usually avoid the "Specials" ) but spotted this in the "Reduced" bins from £9,99 to £7.99 so thought it was worth the risk....

Remarkably robust and has two height settings of 51 & 65 cms. Tried with the cadac last night and works well but I will keep looking for legs as well.

+1 For the hole drilling wheeze in the originsl legs so they fold up with the quick release adaptor still screwed in. Works a treat and it all still fits in the bag. Thanks.
