Cable to use when fitting a shunt

Hi all
I have a 200ah gel battery and I'm fitting a shunt so what cable should I use from neg terminal( m10 bolt ) to the shunt?

Depends on your max power draw and length of cable. If you keep the maximum current draw to the C5 rate which will be 40 amps 16 mm sq will probably be OK if less than 1m.

Length will be aproxhalf metre no more and its on mh with standard equipment
