We stayed on the Aire a few years ago and only viewed the enclosure from the outside. When we next visit later in the year we would like to see the park properly.

Please could anyone tell me will we be okay driving around in our 7.4 metre van and are there places to stop for a van that size to make the most of the day?

Also will the dog be able to come in with us in the van?

Thanks for any assistance :)

I don’t think you can drive around in your van any more. I think you have to park and use the new monorail. Not certain but I’m sure someone else will help.

It certainly was possible, but we havent stayed there for the last 2years.
Big tour buses drive round so a moho is no problem and there are plenty of viewing places to stop.
Its very expensive at weekends so best to visit during the week.

Okay thanks. I know the price but believe it’s good value for money if you spend the day (from friends that have visited but in a car).

Anybody taken their 4 legged friend in with them?

When we were there in May it was impossible to buy an entrance ticket at the new entrance near the Aire (crazy idea) we were told to either pay online or use the alternative entrance a few kilometres away.
