cab electric window switches

I was charged to order electric switch from Fiat, for drivers window on autotrail tracker on ducato base. switch arrived and my garage says it is wrong. Fiat say 2003 do not have flush switches on door card, and they shoud be on top of the armrest As I purchased 2007 from main dealer I doubt doors have been changed. Fiat say switches on now are not fiat parts. Nobody seems to be able to help me. Any of you guys have an answer as I am about to loose the £243 I prepaid for the switch. They were given reg and vin number, I am baffled....

First get a refund as they supplied the wrong part against VIN and Reg No. Then either get a part no from the original or take a photo, have a search on goggle images or part no search and you should be lucky,

I wouldn't pay that exorbitant price in the first place.
Not much can go wrong with a switch, I would dismantle and fix the problem.

I agree with above, step one insist on refund, you supplied correct data and got incorrect item.
Then remove the switch and look for ID info.

There is no ID on the swtches which makes Fiat say not theirs. I am insisting on refund, waiting Fiat's reply. I will take it further if they don't......

We aren't all mechanics or electricians. people who serviced vehicle for 10 years have always been reliable, it's Fiat charging exorbitant prices.....will have auto electrician look at it.

May not be a Fiat part may have been fitted by Autotrail.
