i have just fitted a C400 bench toilet and because of the lack of space I couldn’t fit the Thetford wall seal instead used a sealant. The sealant does not seem to adhere to the toilet properly even though the surface was well prepared. Any advice/suggestions on an alternative would be appreciated. Many thanks. Desi

The toilet may still have a release agent from the mould.
Thorough clean with a degreaser may help.
You don't say what sealer you used.

silicone sealant will not hold onto it, you need to use urethane sealant like puraflex or sikaflex

Many thanks pappajohn and TheBig1. I did use Sikaflex. I am in the process of modifying the Thetford Wall Seal and will update when finished.
