How did you manage to get through to a live person at DVLA please? I tried a couple of weeks ago and they weren't accepting calls. So I'm 70 in July and can apply to renew C1 90 days in advance. With the eye test, how recent does this have to be? Medical, including eye test, can be done up to 4 months before renewal, but as you say application can only be done 90 days before renewal date.So I'm 70 in July and can apply to renew C1 90 days in advance. I was writing a letter today enclosing a copy of my application and then spotted this thread. I will try and ring them first thing in the morning! Wish me luck!
