Hi There,

My son is wanting to complete his C1 license so he can drive over 3.5 ton as his current license does not allow him to.

We live in Barrow, Cumbria, does anyone know of any local companies who he can complete it with?

Also any knowledge of what is involved with the course would be much appreciated.

Thanks

We have our own Funster Motor Roamin (Rick) who is in the driver training business but he is in Leicester...

He might know someone closer to you though...

Or have a week away in the van and do the course with him.

No idea about Cumbria. However, you should get a quote for straight C as well. It is often not much more money than C1. Why be limited to 7.5t if you don't need to!

Thanks very much for your advise and information guys, I will doing ringing around and check the websites out.
First question should be do you undertake the training or farm it out to other companies.

If it is others then contact them if you can....it will probably be cheaper as no commission, arrangement or booking fees will need to be paid to the agent.

A long way away but Rick (motor roamin) has a first class record of first time pass rates.
