We are considering the 150 QB as a next motorhome. As we don't have this model available to look at locally we'd like to know what gap there is between the corner of the bed end and the shower door when it is closed. Does anyone have this model who can do a quick measure for us?

We do, and I can measure that for you. I'll do that later today and feedback the dims for certain. The gap on the other side is likely to be the more limiting one though, as the sliding door panel takes a fair bit of the room up. The mattress corner is cut and stitched to hinge up easily though to provide more room, but even so, it is a little pinchy there. We will probably end up removing the privacy panel arrangement as it is not going to be something we need in the van.

Thanks very much. The missus is not sure she wants to look at the shower while in bed so we though about closing the shower door (yes I know it’s see through!). Removing the privacy panel would also be on my list. That’s my side of the bed! Only found out about the hinged corner yesterday after finding an amateur video on YouTube. Still have loads of questions. The dealer must be getting fed up with us!

To be honest, you kind of "don't see it" (as in, you sort of blank out the fact that you are looking at the shower) when you're in the bed, but I can get what you're saying. The biggest positive to having this arrangement is that when you close the bathroom door to the galley area, you have all of that space as your washroom/toilet area.

The measurement from the mattress corner to the shower screen is 250mm/10" near as matters. The other side with the privacy screen/TV panel is 7", greater if you lift the mattress corner up. One point to note before you can shut the shower screen, you do have to remove the floor panel covering the shower tray, otherwise, the screen will not slide around the channel. There is no other natural home for the floor panel, so that has to be stood somewhere whilst not in its normal place. Hope that helps with your decision-making?

Thanks very much for that. I must admit the space is larger than I thought so all good. Certainly helps with the decision making. Pretty much decided on the 150 QB having looked at other manufacturers offerings for island bed models.

Ditcha Were there any glued-on trim pieces needing to be removed to gain access to the fittings before you could remove the sliding door panels? I've had a quick look, but the main panel on ours seems to have a thin panel that is bonded on with a foam VHB tape. Did you have to "destroy" anything to remove the two panels?

No not any damage it's quite easy the bottom pin guides are spring loaded lift the bottom pin slide out of bottom track then slide the door along to a opening in the upper track and remove

Upper wheels that locate in track move these to the openings in the upper track and remove

If that makes any sense 😀

This is the cut outs on the upper track, the one at the end of the track has the black plastic stop block you will have to remove this there is a small allen key hole at the end slacken this off to remove.

Ditcha Fabulous, thanks for that, I had over-complicated it in my head I think. So, once the little nylon stop end is loosened and dropped out then the panels can be moved to a point in the track whereby they can be eased out of the runners - brilliant, I'll have a little furkle this weekend and see what I can resolve :) Many thanks for the extra pictures, that's a great help too! Interesting to note you have an illuminated cutout panel in the top header board ... our i150 doesn't have that little touch .... plenty of lights everywhere else though, so it's not that we are short of illumination.
