C&CC Discount refused at Go Outdoors

Popped into my local Go Outdoors this morning to buy a NikWax product but was refused a 10% discount at the checkout when I showed my C&CC membership card. I was told it was because there was a sale on but when I pointed out that my purchase was not in a sale the assistant said the manager had told them not to honour any cards. I wonder if they’re in trouble again as there was a lot of clothing on discount rails.

It will be a shame if they go, we have a store in walking distance and find them useful for some things, but they have a lot of competition and they are not the cheapest, often with the CC&C discount.

That's a shame. I could get a good discount on calor gas bottles if they had them in stock which was a rare event.

Do Go Outdoors offer a discount for CCC? I thought it was only Mountain Warehouse that did that.
