Was 3k two weeks ago when we got our policy

Also says 3k on my policy, i will give them a call tomorrow to see if this has now changed or if for new policys only.

Not 3k anymore see https://www.comfort-insurance.co.uk/motorhome-insurance/, apparently Unlimited Window and Windscreen cover. No fan of Comfort but they do seem to be addressing the headline issues with their cover.

Read down the page a little further and you will find this line:-

Phew was finding myself starting to like Comfort again, can go back to disliking.

Not correct for policies from May 2018 it is unlimited providing it is done by Autoglass.

Mine was in April so I might be limited to 3k but should cover it, the new Hymer screens aren't as big or as curved as the older ones.

Our old Exsis had a new screen last year and that was £1700

The DL screen is same width and design just a couple of inches deeper so shouldn't be too expensive.

Do check your renewal paperwork I know it's Tedious but, I have just renewed and noticed one 2 things that they said was not on their screen and then presumed I had not mentioned until I said I had a record written down, time, and date of what and when I said them silly me on this occasion I did not write down persons name ,fault one was my sons wife had a No fault accident when someone hit her on his Policy ,had I not insisted that I told them before renewing it would have cost me about £5 which is little but had I had an accident who knows whether they would wriggle out of paying a claim (son is on my M/H policy) 2nd thing they had got o Statement of facts was he was not married he is, all corrected with no fuss.
As I have said before with Comfort if you are for some reason unable to Drive say in Europe the next person or Persons on the Policy would have to collect the vehicle whereas Safegaurd will send a Driver to collect vehicle to me worth the a little extra on Premium for peace of mind.
