Hi all. The fridge in our van frequently has a low volume buzzing when the engine is running. Not all the time though. Anybody got any suggestions?

I can't see how the fridge would make a noise unless it is a faulty relay in the control panel electrics. More likely to be the relay that switches power to the fridge with the engine running.

Strangely enough, we had a buzzing on a fridge in the other Moho but we sold it without ever finding out why. Hope you find out. It'll be very interesting

I have removed the relevant relay, and the noise does stop, naturally so does fridge running g on 12v. Will try a new relay. Cheers folks, will let you know.

Normally this problem is dirty or loose contacts on your fuse for the fridge. Remove the fuse and they can look quite burnt . The bad contact causes arcing which can make it get very hot and also causes the relay in the fridge control panel to buzz when on 12v.
