Don’t bother to report it to EBay, I have reported several classic cars and bikes, nothing ever happens that I was made aware of.

That's not as funny as it might sound as the keys were stolen from the mot garage after a break in last week

Get the locks replaced immediately and make sure the garage pays! They will have insurance to cover such eventualities so don't let them argue with you about it ... in the mean time make sure you have something parked next/in front etc of it so it can't be driven off.

there are loads of scam adverts on ebay at the moment, how they have managed to hack so many accounts to put them on is amazing.
Most of the scams are easy to spot so why cant ebay do more to stop them

Ebay can't be bothered with scams as all they are concerned about is making money. Scams don't effect their bottom line.

Ebay is nothing like as good as it was, there are sellers listing things as new when they are actually used, but because the usage has only been a little (supposedly!) or still has it's original packaging they think they can claim the item is new - you CANNOT report this at all, it is very frustrating when looking for something that is genuinely new and you have to wade through all the dross!

I'd second the garage changing the locks

But I'm also curious how they got pics of yiur van usually the scam adverts on eBay are duplicates of genuine adds that are either current or expired
Has your van been advertised recently?

That seems to be the modus operandi, we viewed a Hymer the day after it was listed on EBay, after viewing we decided to sleep on it. The next day the seller called us and told us he had sold it to someone else, so we continued with our search and low and behold the van popped up on Ebay again within days at a much lower price.

I would keep a VERY sharp eye on your van.......
Krooklok the steering and clutch, with wheel turned FULLY one way. Wheel camp. Alarm on.
And a sign saying "UNDER POLICE SURVEILLANCE".
Good luck, but DO get new locks from the garage and explain why...
Mitch.

Is it a Ford Transit perhaps????????????????
Take something VITAL out of it Main Battery would help make it immovable or at least not startable.
