Buying a French motorhome in Europe (1 Viewer)

Hi folks
Could some kind person give me some info on buying a Rapido motorhome in Europe.
Is it easy to do,where is the place to go,and is the paperwork a pain.
Went to NEC today but want to order without an oven and was told it cant be done.

We looked at buying in France this year. The major difficulty was the certificate of conformity which is required to import. Apparently the local resident in France has to submit it to the Mairie and it's gets lost in bureaucracy. You may be able to get COC via the manufacturer.

Wonder if Belgium might be easier.

If buying new then the CoC would be with it.

Belgium or Germany is you best bet. always buy our Hymers in Belgium a bit easier as the dealer will drive it to the port.
