As we have most of our motorhome holidays in France I am trying to work out if there are any benefits to using a Butagaz 13kg bottle (the light blue ones, similar in size to a 13kg calor bottle). I have read that all I need is a UK butane pigtail to connect a butagaz bottle to my secumotion regulator. Apparently this will fit both the propane and the butane butagaz 13kg bottles.

Can anyone tell me the cost to re fill a 13kg Butagaz bottle please. I have looked on the website and I cant work out if they mean 29.99 euro to re fil or 29.99 euro initial deposit (My French is non existent and google translate isn't making sense).

p.s
I know all about refillable gas (gaslow, gas it) but I don't want to install that.

Not 100% but 9 euro to hire cylinder, 29euro to refill was how i read it.

Had one for 5 years many moons ago. Now starting again.
I use Butagaz in our house and go to SuperU supermarket nearby to swap and last time I went it was about €32 for a full one in place of my empty one.
