Hi,
Does anyone know whether anyone will insure a camper for occasional business use, i.e. to carry my ladders, paint etc to a job, as well as being a motorhome? This way we could run one vehicle instead of two.

We haven't insured ours for business use but NFU Mutual said they would do it and friends who run a second hand book business had theirs insured for business by Prudential.

Phoned NFU and they don't cover it; Prudential (now underwritten by Churchill) will but will not cover any of the contents. Didn't want to cover business equipment, but they won't cover any camping equipment, bedding, clothing etc at all, even when being used purely for leisure.

Comfort Insurance have insured us for occasional business until we reach 65. I never asked for it, it was added without charge as it is a usual term on the cover!
