Bush Freeview + HD 500GB Smart Digital TV Recorder + Oyster satelite (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have just purchased a Bush Freeview + HD 500GB Smart Digital TV Recorder for use in the van, No instructions have been supplied with the item as it was an Argos return,

I already have an Oyster satelite dish and the cables from it are 1 x aerial push on type fitting and 1 x screw on type fitting like the ones you get on a home skybox, the bush unit doesn't have this facility (screw on), do I need it or will the push on be sufficient?,

I have tried to set up but cannot locate any channels???

freeview and freesat are different in that one is from satellite the other an aerial

Yes As Big1 said that is Freeview I.E. Terrestrial aerial NOT satellite

You will need a sat decoder to get the Oyster to work and an ariel for what you have bought.
