For the second time in one year the front logo has cracked. Are there other customers who had this problem? The camper company told me it is a common issue which I have to deal with. Our camper Burstner Nexxo Van 569 was build in 2021 and has warranty untill summer 2023.

The front logo was changed on my van by the dealer just before we bought it last year. It would have been 16months old then.

Mine has been replaced and the second one has cracked up like yours. Poor production method. My van is just 2 years old

Over on the Facebook Burstner group it seems a common issue. Mine has lost the "n"

Before fitting a new one maybe reinforce the back of the badge with epoxy resin.

It seems to be a common problem from about 2020. My 2019 badge is still good --------- at the moment

Is there anyway just to remove the badge and the plastic moulding it is stuck onto? Rather get a round Burstner badge.

Tell burstner your going to replace it with another company’s name like pilote hymer or another that’s competition…

They might send you a free one then….

will be on my 3rd badge soon. 2nd now separated. not yet 3 years old! It should be simple to design one to stick in place, Im considering options as they are not cheap

Ours is exactly the same! Our van is less than 2 years old..Been waiting since last May for dealer to get a replacement, even contacted Germany but no joy. Does anyone know how to get it off? I was thinking of maybe trying to fix it with glass paint

Ours is fine on a 2017 and sat on a South facing driveway. If it did crack I’d look at replacing the grill with a blank one as I’ve taken the other stickers off.

A new badge is being posted to us when it arrives from Burstner to our dealer. The badge perished after 4 months. I know that it’s a common problem but it baffles me why Burstner don’t change their production method? Unless they have, I am tempted to leave the cracked badge on to continue advertising poor quality.

we are still waiting for ours… it was ordered may 2022! If the are still sending new vehicles out with badges on why can’t they send out replacements

Next day after posting this HofE called and the badge was in stock !!!! Off to get it fitted today!

Mine fell off a 2019 in 2021, considering it sat in our garage for 15 months owing to Covid so no sunshine on it dealer did not want to know. Bought one off fleabay

My badge has done the same (new van from January 2023). It was fine until a few weeks ago.
Is the new badge the same as the old one or do you think this one will last?

Had my badge replaced in July. I opted to just pay to have the thing replaced. Vehicle was new in April 23. The issue with ours was the red background. It started flaking off and looked terrible. Hoping the new one lasts longer.

Its the same with mine. I haven't done anything about it yet. Does the new one look any different or is it just a straight replacement? I'm wondering if the badge has changed to actually fix the problem or if its just a like for like swap?

The issue with ours was the red background.

Same with ours! It only took 3 months for the red backing film to start peeling off.

I removed the front of the badge, removed the rest of the red film and painted the appropriate rear areas with red enamel paint. The badge was then remounted on the backing plate with Sikaflex.

...I don't care about the condition or presence of the badge on the grill.

Ours cracked etc and the black letters were peeling of the name...

I cleaned the original red background off and repainted with red acrylic nail varnish and pained the black letter onto the back of the plastic cover and stuck it all back together... Looks OK unless you get really close up and and see the imperfections..
