New to this forum lark, so may make a mistake or three.

Looking at touring down the Dalmation Coast (Split/Dubrovnik etc) into north west Greece, over the ferry to Brindisi, up the east coast of Italy to Venice.

1. Any tips no matter how random
2. Good camp sites (don't have to be right on the beach), particularly in Italy which are not a holiday camp derivative!
3. Big do's and don'ts

Never got that far but I know a man who has. Use the search engine and search on Greece with user name Don Madge and you'll find some real gems.

Venice. So many sites, it's had to choose. We stayed a few miles from Punta Sabbioni. There are dozens of sites on some of the finest beeches in Europe. You get a bus to Punta Sabbioni and the water bus to Venice. About €11 from memory.

I suggest you go from Venice to Peschiera del Garda for another treat. Camping Butterfly or Camping Cappuccini.
