I've got a 2004 burstner 747 and when the 240 is connected I have power to sockets etc but controller says cable not connected and it isn't charging the leisure batteries, batteries are new and everything works ok 12v with engine running, I've attached a photo so equipment can be seen
Cheers

Are there any main switches/trips between the EHU input and the charger?

The E box has a reputation for failing on the charger. Often see many posts about it.
A&n caravans and apuljack engineering are the two main repair people if you do find it faulty.

Had the E box repaired on our Burstner A747 a few years ago by a&n. Excellent service.
Has it been left on charge for a while whilst in storage or home?

Yes it's been plugged in to mains all the time but I think the batteries were done so it will of been permanently charging so probably has burnt it out

When I got in touch with A&N the first question they asked “have you kept it on charge” which I had. They said that this type of box should NOT be kept on charge 24/7 unless the vehicle is being used.
You’ve probably fried the batteries also.
I made the same mistake.

On one of my motorhomes the built in charger failed. I bought a separate charger and wired that in instead, leaving the existing unit to act as a 12V distribution unit.
