We've been handed a Europa league tie against Burnley in August. Can anyone who knows the area tell me if there would be anywhere I could stay in the camper? Would prefer a site close to the stadium but I I'm not expecting it to be that easy. Anywhere near the ground that would be safe for over-nighting?

More than toes wet now!
Park it in the goal mouth. Would help your defence no end. Remember you'll need to move it at half time when you head out for your pie!:whistle2::whistle2::imoutahere:

Are you a member of Camping & Caravan Club or t'other outfit? Burnley seems bit bereft of campsites.

I'm not seeing anything I fancy that is close enough. That coupled with the fact my mates will be struggling to get tickets as well (high demand) means I think I am just going to train it down and then grab a hotel for the night. I did email the cricket ground next to the stadium but didn't get a reply.

Thanks for your ideas regardless.

Contact Ian or Kevin @Lower Cocken Rarm, Todmorden Rd @monzer its about two miles from the ground and plenty of taxis. As @Hils and Glenns says we know Burnley quite well and that's where we lived for a couple of years in our Moho.
