Building to fulfil a dream (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I started converting my Merc Sprinter 511 last February in the hope of getting on the road as a perpetual traveller by October last year.

Failed miserably on timescales. Hard to plan a project when a whole new set of skills need to be acquired and some of the design ideas were (and still are) a bit bonkers.

Hey ho! Employment has been set aside now and we are flitting from one short term accommodation to another until I get the essentials done.

High expectations of finally getting on the road by June. But...my very tolerant and much better half...oft asks 'What's the plan?' to which I just have to respond 'Plan? There ain't no plan!'

Anyway, looking forward to getting underway, then meeting up with like minded folk as we wander the length and breadth of this isle we call home.

mad max as a design cue is very interesting and cool. It will still need to pass a yearly MOT though, so no sharp edges on the outside etc
