Brussels to Girona (1 Viewer)

Viamichelin, Garmin MotorHome and Garmin Basecamp state the preferred route from Brussels to Girona as via Paris, Orleans, Millau. Option 2 is down to Luxembourg then onto Lyon. These tend to be car biased programs. My thoughts are that with a motorhome it would be quicker to blast back towards the A26 then head south (I know this would cost more in tolls) missing Paris and the Central Massif or various road changes if via Luxembourg (last time I drove through Luxembourg was 1978). We normally travel Rouen Evreux, Orleans etc and our old van struggled occasionally (130bhp) while our new van is 170bhp but that just means it will sit v comfortably at the max speed on the motorway and less dropping of gears on the CM. Going motorway will allow us to drive longer (sharing driving).
As we have a teenager in tow he will want to take the quickest route possible. Any thoughts about the best route for a motorhome.
