Yeah, we had similar problems.... then went to Directline......... their 'top' policy automatically includes 4 bikes up to a max value of £1000 each (and they don't care what lock you have, as long as you long the bikes to something secure like a railing or something immoveable).

The deal seemed so good that I had to ring them up to confirm it :rolleyes:

We have been with them for 4 years now (y)
Thanks. Our house policy is up for renewal in next 2 weeks... I will definitely try them :)

I can't believe that anything folds easier, compact,rides well,than my Dahon. Germans at Freiburg golf club thought it was great too !

Check insurers definition of 'a bicycle' carefully to make sure it includes electric ones.

I say this because for instance though household insurance covers lawmowers, that's only 'pedestrian controlled' lawnmowers, they won't usually cover 'sit-on' mowers.
