Hi I wonder if any of you could identify the use of this broken pipe.
We were just leaving our drive a few weeks when I happened to look back at the drive and saw this pipe lying where the MH had been parked.
It is quite clean inside and I am wondering if it is some sort of air inlet for ?????? as opposed to an outlet of sorts. It's definitely nothing to do with the diesel heater.
The other photo shows the break point under the MH floor.
It is situated pretty much under the fresh water tank.
I haven't been able to determine where it goes once inside the MH.
Its absence doesn't seem to affect anything, so I am wondering if it needs replacing or what is left (about 1 cm visible) will still do the job.
Any thoughts?
The MH is a 2009 Fiat Chausson Welcome WS
Thanks.

No it's not the intake for the heater. I have identified that.
It might be an overflow pipe but it is made of thin corrugated aluminium and I would have thought that an overflow pipe would be made of plastic or rubber.

On and off for many years.
It does look like some sort of heating conduit pipe.

The question is where did the other end fit?

Our last van was a Chausson Welcome WS.

I’m with air intake or air out brigade, it’s certainly not for any liquids....

I've got one the same sticking out of the bottom of our flash 10 but not sure what it is!! It is in the same area as the water heater and suspect it might be a dump if the pressure gets too high?

Long term a few years now.
Ive got a diesel pre heater to aid heating up of engine on my van and that looks like a pipe that comes from that. I thought it was the exhaust from the pre heater i might be wrong though.
