A returner after a 10 year gap
The kitchen tap in our 2000 B574 started leaking at the base of the spout and has cracked right off and split in two. It has a microswitch and 4 pipes. Why are there four pipes, and can anyone help identify the tap or a suitable replacement?
Any suggestions much appreciated.

I assume the head pulls out like a shower head.
If so 2 pipes could be hot and cold supply,
1 pipe the mixed feed to the hose, joined onto the flex hose out of camera shot.
Last pipe is flex hose carrying the mixed water to the spout.

Not got one of these so only a guess, someone is sure to correct me soon!

Does it not have two feed pipes (H & C), one outlet pipe from the tap to feed the flexi, then the flexi returning to feed the lift-out nozzle?

I’ve the same problem on my Kontiki 669.
I can’t get a spanner to get it off.
The sink as no clips, as just been fixed with silicone.

As other have correctly said. Hot and cold supply. Then the mixed outlet from the tap, which then goes down and joins onto the fourth pipe that supplies the head/spout of the tap that can be pulled out. You can change to a standard tap if you wished.

Thanks folks. A great response, makes perfect sens once you know the answer. We had not twigged that it was a pull out rinsing hose thingy as it was firmly stuck with gunge. Next step to find a similar replacement. A standard tap will do if that is all that is available.

Good luck with yours Chocy Boy. On mine the nut was loose. Just as well as we have an oven that takes up most of the space.
