Must be just lucky apart from having kids beach cloths pinched off the line when wilding at le Bacares years ago ,(and that was our fault leaving them out ) used Aires A,D & N roads lay-bys and never a problem
Nowadays drive right through France overnight with the odd coffee/ fuel break on leclerc or similar car park .
