Brodit Phone Mount Conversion To Cd Slot Mount

This is the "CD slot mount" and my previous conversion of ChinkyNav bracket to fit

Now having bought an iPhone 6 (but any other phone applies) I wanted the best mount there is which IMHO is the Brodit range. These are made to screw to a flat surface or a custom Brodit Clip.
I wanted mine to fit a Garmin mount or the CD slot mount.
So here is the regular expanding grip that comes with any slot mount.

The lady on the CD slot mount stand at Malvern show who I believe is a major part or investor in the brand was quite distressed at the notion that I dismembered one of her products that she had spent so much money on.
Perhaps she should take it on board.
