brittany as more aires than almost any other part of spain . there are loads of them . just follow the coast you will find a good one .
you wont need a campsite .

L'Ance du Brick, (spelling?) couple of kilometres out side of Cherborg.
Beach in front (a bit stoney but safe) Silver Service Restaurant next door, Bistro type place a 10 min walk away, Pizza place and Bar on site, Swimming pool, Fresh Bread AND MILK on site everyday (you have to order the bread the night before. Showers a tad cramped, if you can get a pitch at the top of the site, excellent views(y)
Easy distance to Bayeux, Barfleur , Cherborg, good supermarket at Quettehou.

Now here's the catch!

It's in Normandy:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Yelloh Village Camping La Plage at Penmarc'h has a quiet/sandy beach straight out of the back gate, and two more dramatic sandy beaches with waves at Pointe de la Torche a little way up the road. We've used it a couple of times and it's OK. Camping de la Torche is closer to the more impressive beaches but doesn't back onto the coast. The nearest aire (no services) is at St Guenole.

A little way up the coast is Camping du Littoral at Penhors, which is within walking distance of a mainly sandy beach with rocky bits nearby.

There's a few campsites close to sandy beaches in the Baie de Douarnenez area.

If you want totally picturesque try the Pink Granite Coast, Camping Le Ranolien. There's a small amount of sand at Pors Rolland nearby but the coast is mainly impressive rocks. The aire at Poul Palud/Tregastel is a good one, and the Ile Renote is well worth a visit, but on foot or bike due to height barriers.

A nice campsite with short walk to a small beach and owned by an English couple, I seem to remember they're an ACSI site also.

So many sites/aires in Brittany, no need to pre book out of main season. North is wilder and prettier than South which is warmer.

Camping de la plage trinite sur mer ( or something like that)
Hi Chris
When did you stay at trinite sur mer?
What did you think of the site there?

We have an 8.5m tag axle - are the site pitches big enough to manoeuvre on/off?
What's access like getting into the site? (I googled it and it looks like there's an archway entrance)

Is it a nice place?
Any issues with the site?

Can you leave your motorhome and get around easily? Supermarket etc?

Sorry for all the questions, but I'm hoping to go next year and this site looks good.
Cheers!
Gavin

There is an archway at the front but ask if you can use the rear entrance which doesn't have height limits.

We were ok on height at the time ( or ignorant) but we are too high for the arch with the latest van.

The pitches are plenty big enough if you can get on the site.

It's a nice site, easy access to a lovely beach with a decent bar/ restaurant. One of the waiters had the hots for Isabel and kept staring at her but apart from that it was ok:D

There is a shop,on site but I can't remember what is in it.

Carnac is near on a bike and there is a fantastic little cafe about a mile away that does food to die for.

The pool is small and useless really and has restricted opening hours because of stroppy neighbours I think.

Trinite isn't really worth a visit - it's for boating types.

I hope that helps.

Sorry we stayed in May 2012
