We are due to travel this Saturday from Santander, arriving in Portsmouth Sunday 24th 19:45.
We have a large Fifth Wheeler and don't fancy travelling on in the dark.
Does anyone know if it's possible to park overnight near the disembarking area at Portsmouth?

I you arrive after 20.00 hrs the night before you can park in the Portsmouth terminal right next to where you embark. Brilliant, did it recently.
Not sure if the same applies in reverse though. Im sure other funsters will know.

You would probably be best to go to Port Solent, very large free car park and it’s about a 5-10 min drive from the ferry port,,straight out of the port onto the motorway and it’s the next junction off.
I don’t think you will find anything near the port as it is a built up residential area.

agree main car park at port solent

Agree with Phil,
We have a 5th wheel and always park overnight at the port. Sometimes they move you from one
"lane" to the embarkation lane late at night or early morning. You will be not alone.

Agree with the Port Solent option. Once through immigration you are straight onto the port exit gates.
Portsmouth park and Ride closes at 8 - 8.30pm and there is no overnight parking.

Thanks for advice re Port Solent. So I assume there's no height restriction barriers there? Looked online but unable to find any SatNav details

We used Port Solent last November and don't remember any height restriction. We are 3.25 meters high. Would recommend it as an overnight stop before or after the ferry.
