Hi, we are just planning our first holiday in EU since lockdown and are looking at Plymouth / Roscoff with Britany ferries. I have noticed that there is a ticket type named Flexi, and at the moment it is a free upgrade. It looks like a good deal, are there any catches I've missed? which tickets have you gone with Flexi, economy, standard!?

Any help appreciated.

I’ve just bought our first crossing with BF to Santander and taken their offer of the Flexi ticket, it seemed silly not to really.

I also got a ferry code from a fellow Funster which gave me £98 off the total cost of the return. Thank you EuroTrotters 😊

I've just sent you a Conversation.

BTW The free upgrade gives you a better ability to amend the ticket should something
crop up before the journey.

Regards

Emmit

Many thanks for your advice and offers, we have friends in Brittany that gave us a ferry code to use. Looks like we will use the flexi ticket system.

Ray

I always buy the Flexi ticket, got up to version 12 last year I changed it that much.
Be aware that if you do change it the prices are usually higher than when you first booked it so it can cost you money to change.
