We have a booking in May, leaving at 23:15hrs and wonder if there is somewhere to park if we arrive very early.

We tend to start off from home early in case of hold-ups and are looking for somewhere, outside the port itself, where we could while away a couple of hours, if needed.

Also, what is the parking /waiting area like at the Terminal?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

The terminal area at Portsmouth is quite big as is the waiting area the other side of the kiosks.

I have found this place on Search4Sites. Quite close to the ferry.

You could try Port Solent. It’s only 15 minutes from the port. There are loads of restaurants and places to get food/drink. Plenty of parking and motorhome friendly.

We have just seen Port Solent on Search for Sites. Thanks Verteuil Man for reminding us to look.

Has anyone used it?
