There was one when we came back from Bilbao a few weeks ago, according to one of the waiters it’s a regular occurrence.

We were on Friday's Bilbao return. About 11.30 pm we had to sail closer to the French coast so that someone could be helicoptered off.
Added 4.5 hours to our arrival time
No idea how the casualty is but I hope recovering well

Very similar to us, we were in the Cafe du Port eating dinner when the helicopter approached, probably three times, guess they were dropping a medic then picking up.we docked at 1815 when we were expected at 1400. I wonder how long it takes them to get back on schedule.

We had a delay waiting for the ferry on Friday the 5th (Portsmouth-Santander).

I felt like knocking on some habitation doors for a brew and a warm

Seems very frequent makes you wonder if people are getting on knowing they are ill desperate to get back home for treatment. At that rate they must soon start getting more interested whether people are fit to travel

Our next trip to Spain has been moved from Portsmouth to Plymouth due to maintenance requirements.
